Spazmatics-2015

The Spazmatics are the ultimate eighties experience. The band lends its geeky charm to performing 80’s hits complete with “nerdography” and “spaztic” movements. They add a unique dimension to their performance, demonstrating vulnerability with unmatched confidence and musical execution.

What The Spazmatics say about the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival

"The Spazmatics have been a nation wide touring show that performs at many high profile events including Jessica Simpson’s wedding as well as private show for The President of the United States.

The Lafayette Art and Wine is a staple for us for a myriad of reasons. It is one of the only shows where all ages can enjoy a terrific outdoor event in one of the premier cities in America. The leader of the group,  Matthias Montgomery is a Lafayette home owner and grew up in this area which makes the event even more special.

We make it a point to connect with every audience and this crowd is one of the best! We play at several Art and Wine functions throughout the year and The Lafayette event is by far the most superior, so we hang around after the show until closing! Thank you Brian Aiello and The Lafayette Chamber."

~ Mathias Montgomery, The Spazmatics

Jay's Band Notes about The Spazmatics

Bet you didn’t know that one of the Spazmatics lives in Lafayette. That’s right, we have NERDS living in Lamorinda. These guys are high octane “80s” rock.

They get the entire crowd engaged and drag them into the production. Inflatable guitars, goofball gimmicks and a nod to the Star Trek theme song are all part of the schtick! I read somewhere that they were recently endorsed by SPAM!

There are two types of people in the this world. Those who love the Spazmatics and those who are ashamed to admit it. Which one are you?
