Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love in Lafayette!

Enjoy the groovy sounds of Bay Area's best cover bands featuring Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and more from 1967:

June 2: San Francisco Airship
June 9: Shakey Zimmerman
June 16: Dream Posse

On Friday, June 23rd, we're featuring Barry “The Fish” Melton and his band. Barry and his band were all there in the Haight back in ‘67.

June 23: Barry “The Fish” Melton and his Band

Don't freak out, man. It's free. Bell-bottoms and hippie threads encouraged. Time to pull out your tie-dye favorites!

Music begins at 6:30pm. Our 60's inspired "Hippie Market" along Plaza Way opens at 6pm.

Stay late to jam! Acoustic hootenanny around the campfire begins at 8:30, with special guests, including Lafayette's own Stevie Coyle (The Waybacks), playing folk songs. Bring your guitar!

Says Jay Lifson, Executive Director of the Lafayette Chamber and long-time DeadHead:

“Be there or be square! Dude, If you remember the 60's you probably weren't there. But you won't want to miss it this second time around!"
