12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

The Big Jangle Band is a San Francisco Bay Area Band dedicated to playing all things Tom Petty.

They capture the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers concert experience, so not only playing the music of Tom Petty, but the songs he covers live, such as The Traveling Wilburys, The Byrds and Stevie Nicks. Comprised of seasoned musicians located in the East Bay, you will be guaranteed a great musical and dancing experience!

If you have ever been to a Tom Petty concert you know that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are one of the great cover bands of all time. They often mix music from other greats like the Traveling Wilburys, The Byrds, Van Morrison, The Grateful Dead and James Brown.

Well, leave it to the Del Valle High School graduate Paul Cortruvo to form a band that lets him dig deep into his own song book. Paul has been bringing music to these here parts for many years.

You might remember seeing Paul here at the Art & Wine Festival with Cover2Cover and Dream Posse. The man is a human “jukebox.” I speak from experience. We have sat in my family room and there is not a single song this guy doesn’t know.

Paul is joined by another wonderful Lafayette musician, Kiki Stack, on vocals. They are joined by Bruce Brophy on guitar, John Gajan on bass, Dan Hertlein on Drums and Kevin Scott Kroner on Keys, Guitar and Harp. Their sound is pure, unadulterated FUN!
