Lafayette’s Rock the Plaza summer concert series, now in its 13th season, takes place Friday nights in June at Lafayette’s Plaza Park at the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and Moraga Road.

Join us for The Trouble With Monkeys on Friday, June 22, 6:30pm-8:30pm!

Trouble with Monkeys

The Trouble With Monkeys delivers a rocked-out celebration of the Monkees hits, plus other AM/FM radio smashes from 1966-1968 (the timespan of THE MONKEES television show).

The band has opened for popular tribute acts (Zepparella, Hell’s Belles, Get The Led Out, Spazmatics), supported mainstream original artists (Berlin, The Empty Hearts, Gary Hoey, International Swingers, the Vibrators), and performed two-hour sets at festivals (Gilroy Garlic Festival, San Mateo Fair, Summer at the Lake, Lafayette Art, Wine & Music Festival).

In late 2016, The Trouble With Monkeys was signed to Mi5 Recordings/Universal, and the band is currently recording an album for release in Winter 2017.
